About Us
Pacific Top Team was originally started in 2013 by a group of friends and training partners to share their passion for MMA and Jiu-Jitsu with the world, while providing a high level of instruction and family-friendly atmosphere. What started with just 8 members, has now grown to multiple locations in the USA and Canada, and still growing!
Our methods are world class, and our philosophy is to have the cleanest, most up-to-date facilities, while maintaining that our members are…. well, our family!

Jorden opened his first location (Gracie Barra Kelowna) in 2008. In 2013 he decided to part ways with the franchise and create his own brand with a group of friends called Pacific Top Team. He had a clear goal in mind, to create a family orientated facility with a healthy growth environment. Within this structure we wanted to offer something for everyone in a safe and clean environment, with effective coaching and amazing camaraderie. Jorden has more than achieved their goals for people like you.
Pacific Top Team Martial Arts Kelowna is the largest Martial Arts Academy in Canada, offering youth brazilian jiu-jitsu classes (from ages 3-15), adult co-ed classes in both Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, Women’s Only Muay Thai, and so much more. The benefits of training in these martial arts go far beyond improving the physical aspects of an individual’s life. The martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing are truly a vehicle for self-development and character building.
Training on a regular basis instills many traits Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai practitioners embrace as they embark on the journey and the lifestyle it yields. A person will find these martial arts are very comprehensive and conceptual, allowing the mind to be present, directing attention to problem solving which yields results on and off the mats. While practicing techniques and applying them in class an individual will be giving themselves a complete full body workout, improving cardio, strength, flexibility, and endurance.
You will be adding far more to your life than just a workout. The combination of these martial arts and our skilled team will gear you towards the healthy lifestyle and the camaraderie that come hand in hand in training in the martial arts at PTT.
Your Instructors
Jorden Reichenbach
Head Jiu-Jitsu Instructor
My first competition was the Pan Am Jiu-jitsu Championships in Los Angeles in 2007 where I was able to earn a silver medal losing by an advantage in the finals. It was that moment where I decided to take BJJ more seriously. I started competing in IBJJF tournaments on a regular basis winning the American Nationals, medalling at the Europeans in Lisbon and winning a few more medals at the pan ams, and american nationals.
In April of 2009 I decided to move to kelowna and open my own school. I began renting mat space twice a week at a japanese jiu-jitsu school in Rutland where I was raised. The support built quickly.
My calling in life is helping people. I love to see people succeed and reach their goals. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Martial arts has completely changed my life and in my schools I have seen it change others as well.Seeing students learn and grow in this art is what makes me realize the positive impact BJJ has on everyone. This has, and will continue to be, a lifelong journey for me. I am always learning and evolving into a better version of myself through martial arts.

David Emigh
Assistant Jiu-Jitsu Instructor
I started training Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai at the age of 15. I originally started martial arts for general fitness and self defense but it wasn’t long before I decided to push out of my comfort zone and start competing. I started competing locally in Saskatchewan then went travelling to Manitoba and Alberta to get more experience. Martial arts have taught me a lot of skills but most importantly has become one of the best avenues for meeting others that are like-minded and have similar goals of self improvement. Jiu Jitsu in specific has been a great learning experience for me as it has helped me understand myself better – what my strengths and weaknesses are and how I can improve upon them. Martial arts seem never ending, always somewhere to improve upon and no movement is ever quite perfect. Martial arts can be a great path for anyone looking to improve themselves not just on the mats but for life in general.

Caine McCabe
Assistant Jiu-Jitsu Instructor
Coach Caine began his Martial Arts journey at the Revelstoke Judo club when he was eight years old. Excelling at a young age in the Olympic Sport, Caine began competing, and in 2016 won a Bronze medal at the BC winter games here in Penticton. Soon after, Caine moved to the Okanagan and became a part of Team BC as well as tried his first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class at Pacific Top Team West Kelowna.
Caine continued to grow into a International competitor in Judo, eventually achieving his Black Belt belt but ever since he stepped into PTT he knew Jiu-Jitsu was his passion. He felt the care, compassion, and experience from his instructors and has been training everyday ever since. Coaching comes naturally to Caine as he started as a volunteer instructor when he was just Twelve and he has loved passing the knowledge of Martial Arts down ever since.
Whether students are looking for self defense or competition, Coach Caine is invested in creating a fun and safe environment for everyone at Pacific Top Team. Caine is beyond grateful to coach and train on beautiful Syilx territory.
Kshitz Khatri
Program Director
Traveling the world is his dream – having already backpacked many different countries in various parts of the world with more on the bucket-list and no plans to ever stop. His journey in martial arts began in a very different way than most. It all started when he met professor Jorden Reichenbach at a business convention. Long story short, they became friends and his interest in Jiu-Jitsu grew the more he heard Jorden speak of martial arts, its culture, teachings and what it had done for him in his life. Eventually, he decided to check it out and hasn’t looked back since.
Now, he trains multiple times a week, helps coaches with kids classes, strives to improve every time he steps on the mats and looks forward to spending time with his friends and mentors every day. Khatri’s goal at Pacific Top Team Penticton is to maintain the safe, positive, supportive and welcoming atmosphere his coaches provided for him and have worked so hard to build.
